Full Time Construction and Engineering Program
The full time Construction and Engineering program seeks to prepare students for work across a wide range of construction and fabrication trades.
Students undertake Year 11 and 12 studies that allow them to successfully attain their Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET).
In conjunction with NTCET studies, students also complete Certificate II level qualifications in Construction (CPC20112) and Engineering (MEM20105). These qualifications allow students to develop a broad range of skills that prepare them for work within the construction/fabrication industry.
Students also undertake work ready skill development in the form of work placements, small project work for real clients and a school based apprenticeship. The Trade Trading Centre operates as a transition to work environment where students are expected to develop their maturity and trade level work ethic.
The fulltime Construction and Engineering Program is highly successful. Students graduate with three qualifications and over 95% of graduates attain ongoing fulltime work and training on successful graduation of the program.
